Iceland Fine Art Prints & Wall Art

Iceland is the country that I have photographed more than any other, and it is the collection I keep going back to. The island packs waterfalls, glaciers, black sand, lava fields and mountains into a space you can drive around in a week, and the light in summer stretches on for hours.

The south coast is where most people start. Seljalandsfoss falls far enough from the cliff that you can walk behind it, Dyrholaey sits above the black sand near Vik, and the wreck at Solheimasandur has been sitting on the sand since 1973. Further east, the ice washed up on the beach at Jokulsarlon is what most people picture when they picture Iceland.

Vestrahorn at Stokksnes is the mountain I have photographed most, rising straight out of the dunes at the edge of the sea. On the other side of the country, Kirkjufell on the Snaefellsnes peninsula is probably the most recognisable shape in Iceland. Inland you will find Haifoss and Dettifoss, the steaming mud pools at Hverir, and the moss covered lava at Eldhraun.

The collection also includes the quieter subjects that make Iceland what it is: the black church at Budir, the turf roofed church at Hof, the lupine fields that take over in early summer, puffins on the cliffs near Vik, and Icelandic horses along the Ring Road.
