This image was captured near the end of a February journey through the Lofoten Islands. Until then, the weather had offered only rain, slowly erasing the snow that once blanketed the landscape. But with just a few days left, a quiet snowstorm swept in and transformed everything—dusting the orange rorbuer, the jagged peaks, and the shoreline in fresh white. The scene became hushed, serene, and otherworldly. I used a long exposure to reflect that sense of stillness—the mirror-like water echoing the mountains and homes in soft, diffused light. Sakrisøy felt suspended in time, wrapped in silence.
